Biography

Vic Mensa, born Victor Kwesi Mensah, is an American rapper and activist based in Chicago. He first gained attention as a member of local hip-hop collectives Kids These Days and Savemoney. Mensa began his solo career with the 2013 mixtape *Innanetape*, which helped establish him as a significant figure in the hip-hop scene. Throughout his career, he has been signed to multiple major record labels, including Virgin EMI Records, Def Jam Recordings, Capitol Records, and Roc Nation.
