Biography
Albert Victor Adamson was a New Zealand director, producer, screenwriter, and actor known for directing and starring in low-budget westerns during the 1920s and 1930s. He frequently used pseudonyms for his credits, with "Denver Dixon" being the most common. Adamson's work primarily consisted of B-movies, reflecting the economic and production constraints of the era. His son, Al Adamson, continued in a similar vein, producing B films during the 1960s and 1970s, thus continuing the family's legacy in the lower-budget film industry.
