Biography

Wendy Richard was an English actress known for her significant television roles. She became widely recognized for her portrayal of Miss Shirley Brahms in the BBC sitcom *Are You Being Served?*, a role she played from 1972 to 1985. Afterward, she joined the cast of the popular soap opera *EastEnders*, where she played Pauline Fowler from 1985 to 2006. Her work on both series had a lasting influence on British television.
