Biography
Woo Fung is a Hong Kong veteran actor and director whose family originates from Guangdong, China. He launched his acting career in 1953 with long-form Cantonese films and gained immediate recognition with his debut film, *Men's Hearts*. A prominent matinée idol during the 1950s and 1960s, he frequently starred alongside many of Hong Kong cinema's leading female stars, especially Josephine Siao, with whom he collaborated in numerous 1960s musicals. Known for his dancing abilities, he was nicknamed "Dance King." In the 1970s, Woo Fung shifted his focus to television and has remained active as a contract artist for Hong Kong's TVB, while also making occasional appearances in films.
