Biography

Wu-Tang Clan is an American hip-hop collective formed in Staten Island, New York City, in 1992. The group consists of RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and, until his death in 2004, Ol' Dirty Bastard. Cappadonna later joined as an official member after being a close affiliate. Known for their unique sound and lyrical depth, Wu-Tang Clan is credited with revitalizing East Coast hip hop and is widely regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop groups of all time. Their influence has left a lasting impact on the genre and popular culture.
