Biography
Yoshinori Tashiro, also known by his ring name Tōōyama Katsunori, is a retired Japanese sumo wrestler and actor from Hachiōji, Tokyo. He made his sumo debut in January 1999 under the Tamanoi stable and quickly achieved success, winning the jonokuchi division championship in March 1999. Over the course of his career, he was promoted to makushita 7 in November 2002, his highest rank. Tashiro retired from professional sumo in September 2007. In addition to his career in sumo, he has pursued acting.
