Ten years ago, Xu Lai was trapped during an earthquake and rescued by firefighter Jin Shichuan and the search and rescue dog "Zhuifeng." To comfort the injured Xu Lai, Jin Shichuan made her a promise for a reunion in ten years. A decade later, Xu Lai returned to China as a reporter and an international dog trainer. She met Jin Shichuan at a rescue site, but he failed to recognize her and mistakenly assumed she was an unscrupulous journalist. Despite the misunderstanding, Xu Lai corrected the name of the rescue team. When forming a search and rescue dog team, Xu Lai became Jin Shichuan's partner as an international dog trainer. She impressed others with her professional skills and gave Jin Shichuan the rescue dog "Ping'an." As a journalist and a firefighter, Xu Lai and Jin Shichuan frequently meet on the front lines of danger. Through shared life-and-death experiences, the two gradually develop a closer bond.
