A Galaxy Next Door

Since his father's death, manga artist Ichiro has struggled to make ends meet, supporting his two younger siblings with only a middle school education. He doesn't have the time or resources to learn how to use a computer, forcing him to rely on traditional pen-and-paper methods. When his art assistants leave to pursue their own careers, Ichiro is overwhelmed by the added pressure of meeting deadlines, managing family responsibilities, and the constant fear of losing his job, pushing him close to a breakdown. Just when things seem at their worst, a new assistant enters his life, and his fortunes begin to change. She is a talented artist who consistently meets deadlines and is also strikingly beautiful. However, she also seems to know an unusual amount about Ichiro, and soon makes a revelation that challenges everything he believes about reality.
