A Man Who Defies the World of BL

The protagonist begins to understand the romantic dynamics of his world when he learns his brother, Ayato, has received a love confession from his best friend. On his way to university, his avoidance of social interaction inadvertently causes Kuroda and Yūki to collide and fall in love, while his friends Ryōta and Tōma also experience unexpected romantic feelings during lunch.

The protagonist is invited to a party by his classmate Sakita, who also brings along Kaji, Akihito, and Takimoto. As the night unfolds, unexpected romantic connections form between Sakita and Kaji, as well as between Akihito and Takimoto.

Ayato invites his friends, including Tōjō, to his home, reigniting emotional tensions. The protagonist becomes entangled in the group's complex romantic dynamics, revealing a love quadrangle involving Ayato and his close circle.

The protagonist is invited to a group blind date by his classmate, Misaka. Uchiumi draws the attention of the women but unexpectedly shows interest in the protagonist, prompting him to distance himself and pair up with Misaka. The date ends in failure as the group loses interest after the two men leave.

The protagonist encounters Mayama, a BL manga artist who secretly observes and takes interest in the romantic developments between other men, particularly Hikaru and Shun, while keeping his own identity and preferences hidden.

Ayato begins to understand his feelings for Tōjō as their relationship becomes more serious, especially after a period of distance between them. They reconcile and start a romantic relationship.

The protagonist discovers chocolates in his bag on Valentine's Day and learns they were given by his classmate, Kikuchi. To avoid being seen with him, the protagonist arranges for Kikuchi to sit with Miyoshi, but Miyoshi's boyfriend, Haruo, unexpectedly interrupts the class.

The protagonist, after getting drunk and passing out, is taken home by Kikuchi, who confesses his long-held feelings for him. Despite initially trying to avoid Kikuchi, the protagonist gradually comes to accept and reciprocate those feelings.
