Mrs. Ernestine Todd, from Clapham, enlists Poirot's help in finding her missing cook, Eliza. Initially dismissive of what he considers a minor matter, Poirot changes his mind upon examining the contents of Eliza's trunk, recognizing potential complexity in the case.
