Airwolf

Dr. Charles Moffet demonstrates a prototype helicopter called 'Airwolf', but then betrays his team, killing most of the witnesses and stealing the aircraft. Michael Coldsmith Briggs III, also known as 'Archangel' and leader of a secretive organization called 'The Firm', seeks out the only person he believes can recover it: Stringfellow Hawke, a reclusive loner whose primary goal is to find out what happened to his brother, Saint John, who went missing during the Vietnam War.

Hawke and Santini travel to Libya to retrieve the high-tech helicopter Airwolf from its creator, Dr. Moffet, who escalates tensions by destroying a U.S. Navy ship. Meanwhile, Hawke's girlfriend, Gabrielle, goes undercover to uncover Moffet's plans but is captured, tortured, and abandoned in the desert. With time running out, Hawke must recover Airwolf, stop Moffet, and rescue Gabrielle.

Hawke and Dom work to prevent a man suspected of betraying an advanced military fighter jet to the Russians in return for his son, who was born in Vietnam. The situation becomes more complex when Hawke discovers a past connection to the boy's mother from around the time of the child's birth.

An ambitious Firm executive challenges Archangel for leadership while a bomb forces Dominic Santini to crash-land his vintage helicopter. Hawke and Archangel, searching for Dom, are ambushed and forced to repair Airwolf's damaged tail rotor with local help. Meanwhile, Dom must deal with a stowaway—a young girl looking for her missing father.

A Russian defector learns of a deadly Soviet serum and seeks help from Archangel to escape with his family, prompting Hawke and Santini to attempt a rescue using Airwolf, which requires disarming the aircraft to carry the additional passengers.

A movie producer enlists Santini Air to perform a risky stunt involving a helicopter landing on a moving semi-truck, but tensions arise between Dom and String as they debate Dom's ability to handle the maneuver. The situation becomes more complicated when the crew begins to suspect the film production may be a front for a major gold heist.

Hawke encounters a mercenary who offers information about his missing brother, but after parting ways, Hawke loses consciousness in his helicopter and crashes. He awakens in a hospital, informed that he has been in a coma for nearly a year. During his absence, two of his friends died in a mission that ultimately rescued his brother, but Hawke's actions inadvertently led to the disclosure of Airwolf's location to foreign conspirators.

After an Israeli war crimes investigator is killed by a Nazi war criminal in France, his daughter teams up with String and Dom, using Airwolf, to pursue justice. The mission becomes more complex as it reveals Archangel's connection to the criminal, who is also a major arms dealer shaping global politics.

Santini travels to Cuba without authorization to rescue two political prisoners being held for a $2 million ransom, but the exchange site is attacked and the money is stolen. Stranded in Cuba after a crash landing, Santini is rescued by Hawke, who flies through a hurricane in Airwolf. Meanwhile, Stringfellow and Dominic must negotiate with freedom fighters who funded the ransom and suspect Santini's involvement in the theft, while Archangel supplies weapons to a paramilitary group potentially linked to the crime.

North and South Limbawe are embroiled in a conflict over oil resources, with a tyrannical general in the south plotting a coup and launching attacks on the north. String and Dom are dispatched by Archangel to support North Limbawe's leader, Seku Logana, though Logana is skeptical of receiving foreign aid. Meanwhile, Marty Vidor, a former Vietnam comrade of Hawke, is fighting for the opposing side and may hold the key to the whereabouts of the missing Saint John.

Dr. Robert Winchester, a former test pilot and Airwolf designer, enlists Hawke's help to test a simulator meant to train future pilots. Though Hawke is initially hesitant, he agrees and notices some discrepancies in the simulation. With Archangel's approval, Winchester connects the real Airwolf to the system for a more accurate demonstration, leading to a friendly competition and a close call with the Russians attempting to steal the advanced helicopter.

Archangel alerts Stringfellow to the threat posed by D.G. Bogard, a determined government official intent on locating Airwolf. As Dom and Hawke work to relocate the helicopter to evade discovery, Bogard uncovers their plan and follows Hawke to the new site. Meanwhile, a young pilot begins shadowing Dom and Hawke, hoping to prove herself to Santini's company.
