Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor

Glenn, a lazy instructor at the Alzano Imperial Magic Academy, avoids teaching by sleeping through his classes. His top student, Sistine, grows frustrated and confronts him by issuing a magical duel challenge to force him to fulfill his duties.

Despite losing a duel, Glenn remains unmotivated until his interactions with Sistine and Rumia inspire him to take his teaching seriously. At the same time, mysterious men begin appearing at the academy, raising concerns.

Glenn confronts the Researchers of Divine Wisdom, a radical magic society whose members have infiltrated the academy and taken his students hostage. To save them, he is forced to unleash his true power for the first time.

Glenn enters a magic competition with the goal of winning a special reward. Although Sistine and the others are unaware of his motivation, they strive to meet his high standards, leading to surprising progress in their performances.

During a magic competition, Rumia is accused of wrongdoing and becomes a target of the imperial guard. Glenn attempts to rescue her just in time, only to encounter an unforeseen opponent.

The Researchers of Divine Wisdom are revealed to be manipulating the imperial guard, prompting Glenn to work to exonerate Rumia. At the same time, students from Class 2 compete in a magic contest.

Re=L enrolls at the academy to protect Rumia and gradually becomes part of the class through her interactions with Sistine and others. While she initially forms good relationships with her classmates during field research, tensions begin to arise.

Sistine and the group visit a site to investigate a white alchemy laboratory. Meanwhile, Re=L takes independent action, reuniting with her estranged brother and confronting Glenn as he arrives at the location.

Glenn, critically injured, is kept alive through Sistine's magical intervention. Pursuing Re=L after she abducts Rumia, Glenn and Sistine arrive at the white alchemy lab, where Glenn confronts Albert.

Glenn and the others return to their daily routines following field research. One day, Leos visits the academy as a guest instructor and creates a surprise by declaring himself Sistine's fiancé.

Glenn and Leos engage in a magical duel that draws in other students, turning into a full-scale battle. While Leos's team is highly organized, Glenn counters with strategic ingenuity.

Sistine and Leos begin making arrangements for their wedding, while Rumia remains hopeful that Glenn will return, despite his continued absence as the ceremony approaches.
