Alibi Breaker

In a quiet shopping street in Nano Prefecture, far from the bustling metropolis, young Tokino Mitani runs a clocksmith shop that she inherited from her grandfather. She manages the business alone, primarily repairing watches and clocks. She is preparing to launch a side service that offers to break alibis for a fee of 5000 yen per case, with the condition that the fee is charged only if the alibi is successfully broken. One day, Tokino meets Yoshiyuki Saji, a detective newly assigned to the prefectural police department. Saji is struggling to break a particularly solid alibi in an ongoing case and secretly requests Tokino's help. The case proves to be highly challenging, and the question remains whether Tokino will help Saji solve it.
