Based on the long-running BBC series that began in 1979, *PBS Antiques Roadshow* blends history with the thrill of discovery. Every year, the program travels to a select number of cities, where it appraises items brought in by members of the public. Viewers often wonder whether these items are valuable—perhaps worth more than they expect.
