Ash

In 1938 Soviet Russia, two men, both strong and courageous, find their lives irrevocably altered. Igor Petrov, a commander in the Red Army, is forced to exchange identity papers with a safecracker named Ash. This exchange sets both men on a new path, compelling them to live under each other's identities for the next ten years. During this time, they commit acts of bravery and crime in the name of the other, with Ash becoming a celebrated hero and Petrov descending into a life of violence as an outlaw. Their only shared connection is a painful, tragic love for the same woman. Over the course of a decade, both face death and destruction, until fate reunites them. Once again, the two stand together—strong and courageous—prepared to fight for their love, fully aware that retribution awaits.
