Asteroid in Love

As children, Mira Kinohata and Ao Manaka shared a brief but meaningful encounter while stargazing. Ao introduced Mira to the wonders of astronomy, revealing the mysteries of orbiting planets and distant stars. Before parting, Mira discovered that a star bore her name, but none carried Ao’s. This revelation led her to make a promise: she would one day discover a new asteroid and name it after Ao. Now a high school student at Hoshizaki Academy, Mira remains passionate about astronomy and attempts to join the Astronomy Club. She learns, however, that the club has been merged with the Geology Club to form the Earth Sciences Club. Upon joining, she is delighted to reunite with Ao after many years apart. Together with their new clubmates, Mira and Ao begin working toward fulfilling their childhood promise. But just how difficult can it be to find an asteroid?
