Long ago, two close friends each had a child. One named his son Li Zheng, meaning "attention," while the other named her daughter Shao Xi, meaning "at ease" in military terminology. As they grew up, Li Zheng became diligent and attentive in pursuing his goals, while Shao Xi took a more relaxed and laid-back approach to life and school. After growing up in Japan, Li Zheng returns to Taiwan and meets Shao Xi for the first time during high school. Despite their contrasting personalities, a strong sense of fate draws them together. As their relationship develops, the question remains: can they adapt to be with each other, or will the pressures of life keep them apart?
