Episode 17— Braggart and Kindness

Synopsis
Mashiro begins working as an assistant for Nizuma, joining two other assistants: Shinta Fukuda, who ranked lower than him in the NEXT contest, and Takurō Nakai, a past award winner who has since struggled to produce notable work. Despite skepticism from Fukuda and Nizuma about his choice to work as an assistant rather than pursue publication, Mashiro remains focused on learning to support Takagi. Fukuda warns that Nizuma's series "Crow" risks cancellation unless it becomes more compelling, prompting Nizuma to revise the story and schedule a meeting with his editor.
