Synopsis
Mashiro and Takagi keep submitting their story biweekly for the competition, with Mashiro working long hours to meet deadlines. Meanwhile, Nakai is seen with Ko Aoki, who is also entering the contest, and he mentions that Fukuda's submission is a strong contender. Hattori informs them that Muto Ashirogi's story has qualified for the Golden Future Cup, where both ranking and reader popularity play a role in its success. The group faces competition from Koji "Koogy" Makaino, a well-known musician aiming to become a manga artist, whose fanbase could unfairly boost his results. In response, Fukuda, Nakai, Mashiro, and Takagi visit the editorial offices to voice their concerns.
