Bakumatsu
In Kyoto, Japan, the heroine encounters a man who gives her a pocket watch, which somehow leads her to a Torii gate at a shrine, through which she is suddenly transported to the Bakumatsu period. In a world where values and priorities are vastly different, she struggles to find a way to return to her own time. She meets another man who has also crossed time, who tells her, "I will live for you," and a romantic relationship develops between them.
