A Cylon infiltrator, aided by a human scientist named Gaius, works to undermine the Colonies' defenses.

The decommissioned Battlestar Galactica, now being converted into a museum, becomes the last military vessel available to fight the Cylons and guide the survivors toward the legendary planet Earth.
