Bayside Shakedown
Aoshima is a rookie detective who has joined the Wangan Police Station in Odaiba. Previously a salesman seeking more excitement, he finds himself dealing with mundane tasks and strict bureaucratic oversight. Major cases are handled at the main headquarters, leaving the local station with little significance. Disillusioned by the reality that police work is not the heroic, independent pursuit he imagined, Aoshima clings to his belief that "Cases don’t happen in the conference room, but at the scene." Through his optimism and determination, he gradually begins to influence his colleagues.
