Beast Tamer
Rein is a Beast Tamer who originally fought alongside a group of heroes to defeat the Demon King. After his comrades deem him ineffective and expel him from the party, he chooses to live a free-spirited life as an adventurer. During the trial required to become an adventurer, he encounters a girl named Kanade who is being attacked by a monster. Rein puts himself in danger to help her escape, but she then defeats the monster in a single strike. Kanade is a member of the exceptionally powerful cat people tribe, one of the strongest species in existence. Impressed by Rein's skill and kindhearted nature, she asks him, "Would you try to tame me?" Rein agrees to form a contract with her, beginning a new life as an adventurer with the powerful cat-eared girl. His former comrades and other powerful species take notice of his growing strength.
