Shōtarō Tatewaki is a high school student with a serious demeanor who is friends with Sakurako Kujō. Sakurako is a woman in her mid-20s from a wealthy family, known for her interest in "beautiful bones." They live in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, and together they become involved in various incidents related to bones.
