Bo, a 10-year-old girl with growing supernatural abilities, becomes a target of dark forces seeking to exploit her power. To protect her, her guardians enlist Tate, a death row inmate who has lost hope, to help her evade those who want to control her. Together, they embark on a journey that transforms everyone they encounter.

Tate and Bo travel to Atlantic City, where Bo forms a connection with a single mother and her ill child. Skouras attempts to secretly retrieve Bo amid growing FBI involvement, while Winter and Channing try to maintain their advantage.

Bo and Tate find themselves stranded in Manhattan and come across a wealthy woman grieving the long-ago disappearance of her son.

Tate jeopardizes his own safety to assist Bo in uncovering the author of a forgotten love letter, while Winter plans an escape from Manhattan as Skouras and Agent Ferrell intensify their efforts to arrest Tate and Bo.

Bo and Tate return to Philadelphia, where Bo becomes involved with a young couple—a woman and her husband, a blogger whose obsessive quest for a hidden story strains their relationship. At the same time, Skouras takes aggressive steps to uncover a traitor within Orchestra.

Tate returns home to confront his childhood friends, who he believes framed him for murder, while Bo, Winter, and Channing follow his lead. At the same time, Skouras turns his focus to a young telepath at the Orchestra campus, exploring their potential.

Following a brutal encounter with Zepeda that leaves Bo weakened, Winter seeks help from those who have previously protected Bo. Meanwhile, Tate and Winter take bold steps to aid her, uncovering unexpected details about Channing's background. At Orchestra, Sean struggles under Skouras's pressure to master his telekinesis, leading to escalating consequences.

Winter sends Channing to infiltrate the Orchestra campus to track down Bo, whose movements have become unpredictable. Bo, however, becomes involved in assisting a family man facing serious trouble, drawing unwanted attention.

Bo becomes distracted from her training after experiencing a premonition of a young musical prodigy's fatal car crash. Meanwhile, Winter initiates a dangerous backup plan following Channing's capture, and at Orchestra, Skouras evaluates Dani, a new telepath.

Bo experiences a vision of a tragic subway incident and enlists Tate's help to prevent it. Their efforts are complicated when an explosion traps them underground and they encounter FBI Agent Ferrell. Meanwhile, Dani works to earn Skouras's trust as she adjusts to her new life at Orchestra.

Channing's recovery from a gunshot wound forces Winter to take extreme steps to ensure her survival, creating an opening for Bo and Tate to secretly approach Skouras and demand he cease his pursuit. At the same time, Dani starts to doubt her role at Orchestra.

Dani's anger leads her to target Orchestra and Bo, prompting Skouras to seek assistance from Winter and Channing. Bo and Tate try to begin anew but are drawn back into peril when Bo experiences powerful visions of Dani.

Bo assists a police officer with abilities like her own who is under investigation for the disappearance of a young woman.
