Black Box

Catherine Black is a renowned neurologist working at the advanced medical facility known as "The Cube." Intelligent, accomplished, and at the peak of her career, Catherine also keeps a private struggle with bipolar disorder. Each week, the medical team at "The Cube" tackles complex neurological cases, many of which are unique and have not been previously depicted on television. The series presents both the medical and personal challenges faced by the doctors and their patients, with the latter often suffering from rare, visually striking, and sometimes hallucinogenic conditions. The show offers a perspective into these conditions through the patients' own experiences as Catherine works to diagnose and treat them.
