Jane attempts to recover from the dramatic events of the finale in Iceland. She receives a mysterious message from an unidentified ally, which enables her to organize a rescue mission to free Rich Dotcom from a CIA black-site. However, she will require assistance from her former rival, Sho Akhtar.

Jane and the team contact Patterson's father in an effort to secure access to a high-level conference in Finland, where they aim to bring Matthew Weitz onto their side.

When an operation goes awry, the team must confront a growing threat within their own ranks before it can eliminate them one by one. At the same time, Director Weitz finds himself in a tense psychological battle as Madeline Burke works to evaluate his loyalty and uncover a possible mole within the FBI.

When Ice Cream, the Icelandic fixer, returns to collect his debt, the team is forced into a life-or-death race around the world to solve a series of puzzles and recover the infamous stolen Gardner paintings.

To prevent Madeline from sending two planes filled with ZIP to the United States, the team divides into separate groups for a high-stakes undercover mission aimed at intercepting Madeline's son. At the same time, Madeline interrogates an old ally to obtain information about Kurt and the team.

As Madeline and Ivy move closer to uncovering the bunker's location, the team works urgently to stay ahead of them.
