At Dahlia Academy, a boarding school housing students from the rival nations of Touwa and the Principality of West, first-year leaders Romio Inuzuka and Juliet Persia find themselves drawn to each other despite their countries' hostility. Inuzuka takes a bold step by confessing his feelings to Juliet, setting off a personal and emotional conflict.

Touwa's Black Doggy House faces off against the West's White Cats House in a new rivalry, while Inuzuka and Persia quietly continue their relationship. As the tri-monthly trip to Dahlia Town approaches, Inuzuka devises a plan to spend time with Persia by having her dress as a male student from Black Doggy House, leading to complications as they attempt to keep their secret.

Inuzuka and Persia celebrate their one-month anniversary as the campus buzzes with the return of Chartreux Westia, the first princess of the West. As Char arrives to the admiration of the White Cats, Inuzuka is caught off guard by her direct question about his relationship with Persia, raising concerns about their secret being uncovered.

The Black Doggies start training for an upcoming competition, with Persia joining under a disguise at Inuzuka's request. The camp is led by Inuzuka's childhood friend, Hasuki Komai, whose strong dedication surprises him. As Inuzuka discovers the reason behind Hasuki's commitment, he struggles with guilt over hiding his relationship with Persia.

The Dahlia campus buzzes with energy as students prepare for the upcoming sports festival. Aby Ssinia, a member of the White Cats, seeks to boost his popularity by pursuing a prefect position and approaches the influential Persia, while drawing the attention of Inuzuka, who reacts strongly to the situation.

As the sports festival kicks off, competitors vie for the title of MVP, with Inuzuka driven by a promise from Persia to grant him one request if he wins. The intense rivalry between the Black Doggies and the White Cats escalates through six events, reaching a breaking point during the seventh, "Stick Down," where things take an unexpected turn.

The finale of the sports festival, "Cavalry Battle," pits Inuzuka against Aby in a hard-fought match. After Inuzuka's aggressive tactics force an unexpected overtime, tensions rise as he aligns with Persia, who wishes to end the festival without a final decision. Despite growing frustrations, both sides feel bound by honor to see the match through, leading to an intense showdown with surprising outcomes.

Inuzuka takes Persia to the Harvest Festival at a lake near campus for a second date, but their time together is complicated by the sudden appearance of the twin sisters Kochou and Teria Wang. The 14-year-old prodigies, who are Black Doggy House prefects, have skipped a grade and seem determined to observe Inuzuka closely. As they watch his every move, Inuzuka must navigate the challenge of having a normal date with Persia.

Romio is determined to find the perfect birthday gift for Persia and sets out on an errand to Dahlia Street with the twins' permission. Struggling to choose a present, he meets Char, who offers to help, and the two embark on a shopping trip that soon encounters unexpected complications.

Romio is stopped by his older brother Airu Inuzuka, the head of the Inuzuka household and Black Dog prefect, who suspects he has been in contact with a White Cat girl. As a result, Romio is placed under a week of surveillance, which overlaps with Persia's birthday.

Romio, still reeling from Persia's rejection the night before, is approached by Hasuki, who notices his low spirits and suggests skipping class to cheer him up. Hasuki takes Romio on a tour of the school in an effort to lift his mood.

Romio ventures into the White Cats dormitory in search of Persia, determined to celebrate her birthday despite the risks. He confronts the dorm's strict prefect, Cait Sith, in a battle he is ill-equipped to win. Defiant in the face of overwhelming odds, Romio refuses to give up and makes a desperate dash toward a window, hoping to reunite with Persia.
