Brass Eye
Brass Eye is a British satirical news magazine television series. Six episodes aired on Channel 4 in 1997, with a seventh episode broadcast in 2001. Created by Chris Morris, the series was written by Morris, David Quantick, Peter Baynham, Jane Bussmann, Arthur Mathews, and Graham Linehan, and directed by Michael Cumming. It served as a sequel to Morris's earlier spoof news programs *On the Hour* and *The Day Today*. The show satirized the media's portrayal of social issues, focusing particularly on sensationalism and the creation of moral panics. It featured Doon MacKichan, a colleague from *The Day Today*, along with Gina McKee, Mark Heap, Simon Pegg, Julia Davis, and Kevin Eldon.
