Cake Wars
Four expert bakers compete to win a spot for their jaw-dropping cake at a major party or special event. Hosted by Jonathan Bennett, each baker creates one-of-a-kind desserts with the goal of impressing judges Ron Ben-Israel, a well-known pastry chef, Waylynn Lucas, co-owner of Fonuts, and special guest judges. Each week, only one contestant will be chosen to headline the main event and win the grand prize of $10,000. The competition consists of two rounds. In the first, bakers must incorporate a surprise ingredient into their recipe. In the second, they must create a cake with three special features that align with the event's theme. Throughout both rounds, they are tested under time constraints as they race to complete their desserts. At the end of the second round, they are judged on taste and presentation.
