*Campion* is a television series produced by the BBC, based on the mystery novels featuring Albert Campion, written by Margery Allingham. The series consists of two parts, made in 1989 and 1990, starring Peter Davison as Campion, Brian Glover as his manservant Magersfontein Lugg, and Andrew Burt as his policeman friend Stanislaus Oates. A total of eight novels were adapted for the series, with four featured in each series. Each was originally broadcast as two separate hour-long episodes. Peter Davison performed the title music for the first series; the second series used an instrumental version instead.
