*Canada's Worst Driver* is a Canadian television series that airs on Discovery Channel. Based on the British series *Worst Driver*, it is part of the broader *Worst Driver* television franchise. Alongside its sister series *Canada's Worst Handyman*, it is among the highest-rated programs on the channel. The series is produced by Proper Television, a company whose president, Guy O'Sullivan, directed the original *Worst Driver* series in Britain. As a result, *Canada's Worst Driver* is considered Proper Television's flagship show. Unlike other international versions of the *Worst Driver* franchise, the Canadian series places a strong emphasis on the learning process of the contestants and the science of driving. This focus often gives the show a more serious tone compared to other versions, which tend to be more comedic. *Canada's Worst Driver* is the longest-running series in the franchise to date.
