Synopsis
Candy, alone in her empty apartment, struggles to come to terms with Alistair's death, imagining how Albert would view the situation. She discovers a newspaper ad hinting that the reclusive Grandfather William is considering emerging from seclusion, just as Neil unexpectedly arrives and proposes marriage. Despite Candy's resistance and Mrs. Leagan's refusal, Eliza sees an opportunity to assert control and pressures her mother to involve Grandfather William in the decision.
