Synopsis
Candy believes she is being taken to Europe and escapes during the journey. She arrives at the Rose Gate to find that George has kidnapped her on behalf of Great Uncle William, who plans to adopt her. The Legrands and Aunt Elroy are unable to intervene, as Uncle William holds ultimate authority over the Ardley family.
