Curtis Newton, also known as Captain Future, is an orphan whose parents died in their artificial satellite when he was an infant. His father, a scientist, had left Earth for the satellite to pursue scientific research alongside his aging friend, the genius Dr. Simon Wright. Sensing his own impending death, Wright decided to transfer his brain into a mechanical container. Together, they created a superior robot and an android. Captain Future has since devoted his life to fighting evil, aided by his three companions: the brain, the android, and the robot.
