Cardfight!! Vanguard
Aichi Sendō is a shy third-year middle school student who has always looked to the past rather than the future. The only thing that gives him strength is a card called "Blaster Blade," which was given to him when he was young. He is introduced to the card game "Vanguard" by Kai Toshiki, a cold-hearted high school student. In Vanguard, players imagine themselves on a planet called "Klay," and the game's unique system has made it popular worldwide. Aichi quickly becomes interested in Vanguard and begins playing it with his friends, including Misaki Togura and Kamui Katsuragi, as well as his new rival, Kai, who is one of the best players. Aichi plays every day, dedicating himself fully to improving his skills, hoping that one day, when he battles Kai, he will be recognized for his worth.
