Carita de Ángel

*Carita de ángel* is a Mexican child telenovela produced by Televisa in 2000 under the direction of Nicandro Díaz. It is a remake of the telenovela *Papá Corazón*, which was also adapted for *Mundo de juguete*. The series starred Lisette Morelos, Miguel de León, and Daniela Aedo in the role of Dulce María. In 2001, it was broadcast in the United States by the Spanish-language network Univision. Notable members of the cast included Mexican actors Joaquín Cordero and Ana Luisa Peluffo, as well as Argentine actress Libertad Lamarque, who passed away during the filming and was subsequently replaced by Silvia Pinal. From December 11, 2000, to January 5, 2001, the telenovela was temporarily suspended for the Christmas minitelenovela *Rayito de Luz*. In Indonesia, it aired on RCTI in early 2003 and later on SCTV in 2004. In the United States, it was rebroadcast on the Spanish channel UniMás from June 14, 2012, to February 28, 2013.
