Adachi stays at Kurosawa's apartment and struggles with sleep, unsettled by Kurosawa's preoccupation with romance. Seeking guidance, he turns to a novelist friend for insight.

Adachi and Kurosawa are caught off guard when a colleague invites them to a drinking party, disrupting their original plans. At the same time, Tsuge finds himself dealing with an unpleasant encounter involving a difficult delivery boy.
