Claymore
A vengeful half-demon warrior named Clare teams up with a boy named Raki after saving his life, embarking on a dangerous journey to hunt down the monstrous youma that destroyed his village—and her own humanity.
A shapeshifting demon known as a "youma," which feeds on human flesh, arrives in Raki's village, prompting the arrival of a lone woman with silver eyes and a sword on her back. She is a "Claymore," a half-human, half-youma being created specifically to hunt and kill youma. After Raki's family is killed, the Claymore saves his life, but he is later banished from the village. With no other options, Raki tracks down the Claymore, named Clare, and decides to accompany her on her travels. As they journey from town to town, defeating youma, more details about Clare's organization and her fellow warriors emerge. With each town they cleanse and each demon they destroy, they move closer to the youma that Clare has been seeking revenge against since she became a Claymore.
