Cleopatra, the renowned Egyptian queen born in 69 B.C., is depicted as being brought to Rome by the Roman ruler Julius Caesar when she was 18 years old. Caesar becomes emotionally and physically involved with the young queen, and they have a son together. However, this relationship is met with disapproval from Caesar's Roman allies and his wife. Notably, as Caesar has only a daughter with his wife, he had chosen Octavian as his heir.
