Closer to Truth

Closer to Truth is a continuing television series that originally aired on PBS and public television. It was created, produced, and hosted by Robert Lawrence Kuhn. The first series premiered in 2000 and ran for two seasons, followed by a second series in 2003 that lasted one season. The third series of the program, titled *Closer to Truth: Cosmos. Consciousness. God.*, began in 2008 and has since completed 12 seasons. Robert Lawrence Kuhn serves as the creator, executive producer, writer, and presenter of the series, with Peter Getzels as co-creator and producer/director. The show features on-camera conversations with leading scientists, philosophers, theologians, and scholars, exploring a wide range of topics and questions, including the size and nature of the universe, the existence and essence of God, the mystery of consciousness, and the concept of free will.
