Synopsis
Following Clovis' death, the Purist faction in the Britannian Army seeks to eliminate Honorary Britannians by making Suzaku a scapegoat. With assistance from Kallen and Kaname Ohgi, Lelouch devises a plan to save him, publicly declaring himself Zero and taking responsibility for Clovis' murder. He manipulates Jeremiah Gottwald to aid in Suzaku's rescue, but Suzaku declines Lelouch's offer to betray Britannia, choosing instead to reform the Empire from within.
