Cold Shores

When wealthy heiress Maria Sorokina disappears after an argument with her husband, Police Chief Boris Novinsky assigns the case to his daughter, Alina Novinskaya, a newly promoted detective who was an intern just the day before. A serial killer who strangles and disfigures young women resembling Maria is discovered to be active in the town. The investigation brings Maria's husband, Mark, and Alina together. Seven years later, Alina and Mark are a close-knit family. However, when Mark goes on a business trip and encounters a woman who looks exactly like his missing wife, Maria, he is overwhelmed by emotions and abandons Alina to be with the woman.
