Fifteen years ago, an unknown hyperspace gate opened over the Pacific Ocean, leading to Reto Semaani, an alternate world inhabited by fairies and monsters. San Teresa City has become a melting pot, home to over two million immigrants from both the real world and Reto Semaani. The city is marked by stark contrasts between the wealthy and the impoverished, and it has emerged as a new "city of dreams." However, beneath its surface, crime flourishes in the form of drug trafficking, prostitution, and weapons trade. The San Teresa City Police are the force tasked with confronting these serious crimes. When detective Kei Matoba and the knight from the alternate world, Tirana—two individuals who differ in gender, personality, and origin—meet, an incident occurs. This encounter between two worlds and two systems of justice marks the beginning of a buddy-cop action story.
