Couples Therapy
Each season of the reality TV show features five celebrity couples in troubled relationships living together in a large mansion, where they participate in ongoing sessions with psychologists and relationship experts led by Dr. Jenn Mann. The goal is to address both their relationship issues and personal challenges. Among the most controversial couples featured in the media were rapper DMX and Tashera Simmons, as well as actor Doug Hutchinson (known for *The Green Mile*) and his wife, Courtney Stodden, a self-promoter who was 17 turning 18 at the time the show was filmed, while Hutchinson was 52. The show also featured appearances from several A-list celebrities, including Too Short, Treach from Naughty by Nature, Jenna Jameson, Scott Stapp from Creed, JoJo from K-Ci and JoJo, and Ghostface Killah.
