Cheng Chu Mo, the son of one of the founding marshals of the Tang Empire, was a young man known for his lack of direction. His life changed dramatically when he fell in love at first sight with Fu Rou, the hardworking daughter of a merchant family. Determined to win her affection, Chu Mo began to study diligently. As he gained knowledge and maturity, he decided to follow in his father's footsteps by serving the country, eventually planning a campaign against pirates threatening China's coastline.
