Cross Fire

In 2008, Xiao Feng is a struggling e-sports team leader trying to keep his team together during the early and underfunded days of competitive gaming. His team faces widespread mockery and little support, but they remain determined to pursue their dreams. In 2019, Lu Xiao Bei is a highly skilled player in the same game, despite being a young man in a wheelchair due to a disability. He is driven by a promise to honor his late brother's dream of becoming a professional e-sports player, as his brother died in an accident before achieving that goal. Though separated by 11 years, a mysterious cosmic glitch enables the two to first communicate through voice chat and later meet in-game, forming a bond that transcends time. Their friendship ultimately saves Xiao Feng's life in 2008, allowing them to meet in person in the present. Together, they form their own team with the goal of winning the championship.
