Synopsis
A teenage girl returns home to discover her parents have been murdered, prompting Horatio to travel to New York City where Detective Mac Taylor is investigating the shooting of an undercover officer. The case becomes more complicated when the medical examiner reveals the officer was already dead for 72 hours and could not have committed the Miami murders. Horatio and Mac work together to uncover that the real killer used the officer's identity to stage the crime and is still at large.
