Damo
Damo is a 2003 South Korean fusion historical drama starring Ha Ji-won, Lee Seo-jin, and Kim Min-joon. Set in the Joseon Dynasty, the series follows Chae-ok, a damo assigned to the low-status role of a female police detective who investigates crimes involving women from the upper class. Chae-ok is in a forbidden relationship with her mentor and superior, Hwangbo Yoon, but during an undercover investigation into a counterfeit ring, she becomes emotionally entangled with Jang Sung-baek, the enigmatic leader of the rebel army she has infiltrated. The series aired on MBC from July 28 to September 9, 2003, on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:55, consisting of 14 episodes.
