Dance Academy

At Sydney's National Dance Academy, a group of talented young dancers is selected for an intensely demanding training program. The story centers on Tara Webster, a sheepfarmer's daughter with the ambition of becoming a top ballerina. Samuel "Sammy," the son of a long line of Jewish doctors, and Christian, a minor juvenile delinquent, are initially outsiders but gradually integrate into the group, forming new friendships. Kat, the daughter of a star ballerina, introduces them to Ethan, her older brother and a former student who aspires to be a choreographer. Abigail, a determined young woman willing to go to extreme lengths to achieve success, attempts to undermine both the group and their progress.
